Zombie Slicin'!

They say you should never steal treasures from the crypts, lest you anger the restless dead. Perhaps this fearless barbarian should have listened-- but, where's the glory in that?

Anyway, here is a little piece of personal art I whipped up last year in my rare spare time. All done in Photoshop.

Enjoy!

Green Valley #4

Let's keep things moving with Green Valley! Here are some pages from issue 4, where the "dragons" are revealed. As a consequence, there's a lot of dinosaur pages here-- but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Anyway, art by Giuseppe Camuncoli, and colors by yours truly.

Enjoy!

Invincible #126

At last, we reach the end of my run on Invincible. This is the last issue I colored, which coincided with the end of the "reboot" story arc. Not much else to say, really. Looking back on this issue, I think I see why the rest of the team decided to go with a different colorist. At this point, my coloring style was moving in a different direction, and I think I was starting to lose the plot. I just got carried away with following some sort of vision that was at odds with the style they were looking for.

Of course, this is all speculation. Whatever the case, I see a lot of pages in this issue that I'd like to go back and fix. That said, I feel the same about a LOT of the work I've done in the past. ;)

Anyway, enjoy!

1/6th scale Barbarian

Here's a model kit I did a while back (the Barbarian by Fantasy Realms). This was my first resin kit, so there was a lot of learning done along the way. The building part of the kit was simple enough-- as it was basically all just one piece, plus the base and a few accessories-- however, the quality of the casting left much to be desired. It took a ridiculous amount of grinding, filing, sanding, smoothing, puttying, and even sculpting, until I eventually just gave up and moved on to painting. That part was fun.

Anyway, enjoy a few pictures!
